Discussion
● The results of the Parent/Staff/Student Survey were reviewed and discussed.
● The survey saw a significant increase in parent and teacher participation
● Key findings included that 96% of parents believed students care about school, and 91% liked
school.
● Conversely, only 33% of parents reported no bullying issues.
● The meeting focused on strategies to address bullying and promote safety and well-being on
campus. Currently, 33% of parents believe bullying is not an issue, and the goal is to increase
this perception to 36%.
● We discussed the "Stop It" app, which allows for anonymous bullying reports, and noted that
teachers can refer students to counselors for support. Positive reinforcement strategies,
including Bucky badges, kindness ambassadors, and trimester awards, were highlighted as
effective measures.
● The Bronco Brigade, which consists of parent volunteers, has gained noticeable popularity
among students and has had a positive impact on campus life.
